Ouch, that sucks--in case you hadn't noticed. ;) Hope you're hopping around in relative comfort soon.

Are you for real? You busted your ankle?! Poor, Heather! (Although, I believe that you should be reporting "flu-like" symptoms. You don't want the other blogs to know you're actually injured.)

Katebits, your inexperience is showing! If she's on the IR, there's no point in being vague. They only obfuscate when someone's questionable or day-to-day.

Heather all of Stately IPB Manor wishes you a speedy recovery! You should have used the Devils patented "overall body soreness" injury report!

I am currently practicing my ankle-whacking blog moves, so I'm ready to exploit any lingering weakness as soon as you get off the IR, Heather. Because there's just not as much respect for each other in the blogosphere as there used to be.

In the meantime, though, I hope you're not in too much pain and healing quickly!

Oh, OW! I'm just back to skating again after enduring a similar fate in August, except the ice I fell on was white with a particular paint job. I hope you'll feel better soon (after the Percoset wears off, that is...)!

I think Heather likes Hank Tallinder too much - she decided to get injured to relate to him more!

I am printing out everyone's kind comments and don't worry, I'm sure as soon as she has the energy she'll be blogging away.

Hope everyone has a terrific holiday.

Luckily it wasn't your blogging ankle! Hopefully you'll be back at it soon, because I don't want to have to drop you from my fantasy blogger team.

Seriously, Heather, yeeowch! I hope you feel better right quick!

Heather, I hope you feel better soon! I'm sorry that happened to you. :(

Nah, Mark, if she wanted to get injured like Tallinder it would've been a broken arm.

Get well soon!

Ouch! Could be worse for the blog though - it could have been a wrist.

Get well soon.

Yikes! Best wishes, Heather. May you use the holidays for a speedy recovery.

Sorry I'm so late, Heather. That's terrible about your ankle! Do everything the doctors say, and get well fast.

Heather, I'm so sorry about your ankle and that it's going to keep you from the ice bowl. Between Katebits being left out of the Sabres orchestra and now this, you poor Buffalonians are really getting the shaft this year. I declare "no fair" on your behalf and DEMAND a Christmas miracle!
