I Have a Few Questions

Anyone know how old Carey Price is? I keep thinking maybe they'll mention it on one of the broadcasts but if they have, I've missed it.

And are Andrei and Sergei Kostitsyn related in some way? I mean, that's a super popular name I think so it's not a given. I'm just curious.

And did someone forget to tell the Rangers that Chris Drury teams do not give up leads much less three goal leads?

Here's the weekly reminder for playoff pool participants that line-up changes need to be made by 1 p.m. Eastern on Monday. As usual, if you forget, your line-up from last week will be used but if you have any players who have been in for the first three weeks, they'll stop accruing points for you.

Since I don't get to see any of the games I actually did wonder how old Carey Price is because all I've seen is the picture on his ESPN and he only looks about 15 in that picture.

The Kostitsyns are brothers, and Carey Price is only 20 years old.

Geesh, all these young successful athletes make me feel like I haven't done anything with my life.

And someone apparently also forgot to tell Chris Drury that he's supposed to score in the final minute while down by a goal, not lose board battles to Marian Hossa. ;)

I totally agree! Carey Price only a few months older than me, as is Sid the Kid. It always shocks me that they could just be guys I see on campus, really talented, rich, good-looking guys... :)

And I guess good ol' Chris must not have been feeling very "intangible" last night.

Tessa, I was being totally sarcastic about Price and the Kostitsyns because Versus won't step telling me both things but thanks for answering the question since Lee didn't actually know :-D

These guys definitely seem to get younger every year.

Haha, I figured you had to know about the Kostitsyns, but I haven't seen the Versus feed to know they've been harping on Price's age...though I guess I shouldn't be surprised, seeing as they feel the need to tell us everything from birthdays to favorite foods to grades in middle school home economics.

And Katie - I'm a year older than them, and I know what you mean about the campus thing. Plus, a guy from my school just got taken in the first round of the NFL draft, and Kimmie Meissner goes here too - way to rub it in that I have no athletic ability, people!

In a similar vein, could you please tell me how old Sam Gagner is? The Rogers Sportsnet guys kept saying "he's only" but then they'd cough or something and I'd miss it. Every time, at least five or six times a game.

Every time I think about the fact that I'm 2 years older than Sidney Crosby (and the fact that he still can't legally consume alcohol in this country) and the same age as Alexander Ovechkin, it makes my head spin.

If the Pens win the Cup, will Cap'n Sid be fined for drinking champagne? Same for Carey Price. Didn't that happen to Jagr with Pittsburgh? Haha.

I love hearing all of this, "Oh my gosh -- I'm a FEW MONTHS OLDER than Sid!" Meanwhile I'm like, "I'm a few months older than him, too. Give or take A DECADE. Give or take TWO MORE YEARS ON TOP OF THAT." :P

I'm with you, Schnookie. I'm, um... 14 years older than Sid. I figured out that I had my first kiss about three months after he was born. I could've been his babysitter. I feel a little dirty.

LOL Amanda and Schnookie

And I thought it was bad that I'm 7 yrs older than him? or something like that.

and drat, I ran out of time to change my playoff pool roster! I was all set to do it then my internet crapped out on me and life happened. Argh. Oh well I'll sink back to the bottom again. I actually had an okay week last week.
