Blackhole

Wait, so the Sabres don't play tonight and the World Series doesn't start tonight? Haven't all the people involved in both of those events had plenty of rest? Let's go, people! I need some sports on my TV!

I couldn't agree with you more. Start the World Series (admittedly, I have a dog in the hunt) now. Also, the NHL really needs to dump its stupid scheduling. I have long been a proponent of a regular schedule, for example, each team plays every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It will make the on ice play a much higher quality, and it will marginally assist the TV ratings, as people will know what day to look for the games. As opposed to now, where every day, I stop and think, "I wonder if the Sabres play today" From a gameplay standpoint, it would eliminate the unwatchable games between a team overtired from playing its 4th game in 6 nights against a sloppy team getting its feet back after a 4 or 5 day layoff.

And then if they can dump the loser point....

Go Phillies

Hmmmm.....

LeBron, KG, and Kobe on TNT. The NBA opens up.:)

Sacrilige, I know I'm one of about 5 people in this town to pay attention to basketball. But it'll pass the time for me tonight.

Vanek's Hair, I forgot you were a Phillies fan. Gross. I'm cheering for you guys but only because I hate the Yankees and refuse to sacrifice my soul like that.

Peter, I did actually enjoy much of what I watched of the NBA playoffs last season. Maybe I'll give it a whirl for the night.
