Tune In Tomorrow!

Here are the professional journalists, hard at work at the NHL Entry Draft:

And here are the lowly bloggers. It's not the press box, but I suppose it's a step up from our mothers' basements. (Then again, at least our internet worked when we needed it all weekend):

So we did actually work on our blogs today but I haven't quite finished up the next post. We'll be driving home most of the day on Sunday but maybe Sunday night I'll have something more interesting up. (Maybe.) Hey, it's the beauty of not having an editor or a deadline.

I love you claiming we were working on our blogs when in reality, we were working on finding a place for dinner where they serve affordable cocktails. Hey! We really are like real journalists!

Listen, as far as anyone else knows we were working very hard on our blogs.

All Kid could see in the pictures was your laptops. She is seriously coveting them. What is it they say, the older they get the more expensive their toys get?

Hey, a sensible dinner (and potent potables) is the foundation for good blogging.

Myra, you're absolutely right. I have very expensive taste in toys. *Cough*Vinny Lecavalier*cough*

Ok, I check Tampa Bay's website regularly to see how our misplaced Stars are doing. Yesterday, I found this video on Vinny's shoulder surgery update. I had two responses to it. 1)As a married woman, maybe I shouldn't be watching this. 2)Then I immediately thought the Ookies should be watching this.

Oops, I forgot to add the website. Click on the Special Features--Vinny's Shoulder Update.

Oooh, Myra, I LOVE the "Vinny's shoulder surgery update" video!

Myra, you have done us all a great service by bringing that video to our attention. All hockey fans should see this. Especially the female ones... for um, the integrity of the game...?

Thanks, but why do I feel so dirty?

Is that what this feeling is that I'm having? Dirty? No, I don't think so....

Hi, Myra! Nice to see you over here :-D

That said, I really don't get Vinny at all. I love watching him play but I think he looks like a total lunkhead.

Hey, Heather! I come by on a regular basis. I guess I just hadn't commented before.

I think he looks like a total lunkhead.

Er. I think he sounds like a total lunkhead. But I still think he looks pretty yummy. I love those athletic necks. Hubbie still has his even after not playing football for almost 30 years. Ouch, can that be? *checks math* Yes, it's correct. Ok, Hubbie is still pretty hot for a really old dude.

Sorry about all the "puckbunnish" comments. I promise to behave better next time.:)

Oh, Myra, I don't really mind the puckbunnyish comments - it's not like I never notice when a guy is tall, lanky, blonde-haired and blue-eyed in a dashingly handsome way... you know, just for example. Vinny's just not my cup of tea, that's all. I know I'm in the minority.

Hmm. I wonder who she could be talking about? Also, my last comments really grossed out the Kid. I guess I'm going to have to behave better with her hanging over my shoulder this summer! :)
