I remember a couple times when teams that were going through bad home stretches did the hotel routine when they were at home (I think the Blackhawks even did in last year's playoffs at one point) and it can help. It makes sense - fewer distractions, everyone is on the same routine, coaches can keep tabs on everyone and see who's violating curfew... ;) Plus it can sort of trick the subconscious to help get them out of a mental rut.Kathleenhttp://letterstothenhl.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
