I have to admit I'm still hoping for him to get shelled at some point though.

kms2: Nieds is one of my favorite non-Sabres. The beard is just icing on the cake!

brian: It's awesome that you've been able to pull in some news fans. It's definitly been good hockey so far and I'd totally agree that that's all that really matters. I mean, obviously I'd like Buffalo to still be playing... but good hockey is good hockey.Heather B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06796852014625052317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6099439052359653516.post-85651967935524186482007-06-02T17:54:00.000-04:002007-06-02T17:54:00.000-04:00Game 1 was the best hockey game I've seen in a lon...Game 1 was the best hockey game I've seen in a long time. The first period was so amazing that even though I'll be losing a bet with one of my friends if the Ducks win, it will be worth it. Plus, between this series and the Sabres/Rangers series, I've been able to convince some people who have never cared about hockey that they need to start watching it as it's the best sport in North America. So, if they play more games like that and gain some new fans, isn't that the most important thing at this point?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6099439052359653516.post-79792307367468838122007-06-02T05:20:00.000-04:002007-06-02T05:20:00.000-04:00I love Scotty Niedermayer's beard!! and his eyes....I love Scotty Niedermayer's beard!! and his eyes. and everything else about him...well, everything except for the fact that he's a Duck.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07631663414267137790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6099439052359653516.post-42391946230643245252007-06-01T21:46:00.000-04:002007-06-01T21:46:00.000-04:00If you've read the comments over at bfloblog you'l...If you've read the comments over at bfloblog you'll see that I agree with you...You put it much more eloquently, but I have concise!

If somehow Ottawa pulls this off, Ray Emery should be the MVP. He's been fantastic - and I don't even care for his public persona (not that I know his private persona either). Without him there would be 2 blow-outs so far.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6099439052359653516.post-12205581171790494162007-06-01T11:08:00.000-04:002007-06-01T11:08:00.000-04:00:::gasp::: I never thought about that!
